It was wonderful to be back at today at my first shoot with Tactile Tots! I am so proud that I am going to be working regularly with the infant massage instructor, Catherine, to capture magical bonding moments between mother and baby at the end of each of her five week massage courses.

The class was so beautiful and it was lovely to be surrounded by such tiny babies who were enjoying some time and closeness with their mothers. Although it can be a really difficult time for parents, getting out and about in those first few weeks is so important! But it’s definitely not a time that you will be thinking about having photographs taken, or a time that you will have the brain space to organise one!

Working in this way takes the pressure off of the parents, it’s all organised for them but I can be there to be a part of it and preserve these moment as images for them to keep. Often they think it’s a terrible idea! They aren’t looking their best, they haven’t washed their hair, but in years to come they will have something so precious to remind them of how tiny their baby was and what special moments they shared together in those early days.
